It is indeed interesting to know that there are companies like ‘Brosis a PDF Company. ’ in India which try to torture their employees by vindictive methods. Here is my story.
This is my own true story and the mails I will be adding here in a later post are the ones I have sent to my managers and it shows the callous attitude they have had towards their employees.
I resigned from Brosis a PDF Company. on the 11th of July 2008. They delayed the response of letting me know the last working day for me. The reply was sent post the 15th although the leaders had clearly read the emails and I have read receipts to know that for sure. Even then when they are aware of payroll processing they delayed it so much that the payroll dept blocked my salary. This clearly shows the unfriendly nature of the company. This would have been a first instance if it was a post resignation issue. This has always been the case. I was in the pune office for about six months when I was put through some serious instance which really made me lose faith in the company.
Pune:
1) The cafeteria had about 3 reported instance from me and one of my colleague’s end and that the food was unfit for consumption as we found insects in it, or sometimes it was stale and smelly , or for that matter even the tea served was more than 8 hours old reheated over and over. The best example happened when one of our Microsoft trainers’ ordered food. He was just about to take the fourth or fifth spoon when we found an insect about 3 cms long. The canteen manager stated that it must have fallen in after being served. We clearly showed how the insect was stuck in the food as a result of the cooking process.
Add to that the price of a vada pav that is about 5 being charged 12 Rs

2) The transport was really the funniest one. They would arrange for a pick up and drop about 2 minutes before the shift starts. Then they used to pass the buck stating that the other employees got it late where as I was the only one being picked up at most times.
3) On the day we went to pune there was no arrangements for us for almost two weeks as they never knew where to put us up at the office as they had no desk space available for us.
Mumbai:
1) Cafeteria server food equivalent or worse . I should have a picture somewhere that I will post later.
2) Transport is somehow reporting on time most times due to my frequent escalation of issues. I had sent them an email for safety checks and they said they are doing it. I asked for a report and they said it would be sent on Saturday . that Saturday has not yet come.

Apart from all this they came back and said that I had overlooked my duty and failed them among other things. They never looked at why it was happening. If they spoil the work environment then how can anyone work with sanity.
They have business requirements , policies and things but does it mean that an employee should forsake all of his needs, his salary and his option of growth because companies like Brosis project or impose in their methodology
Current situation:
After about 30 to 35 calls and about 7 follow ups on email I still have not gotten my salary. They had said that it would be done at least about 95% of it would be done by the 5th of august. It still is not done. I am as of now in a situation that makes me think if I should recommend anyone here because if this is how they treat employees then it is a sheer disgrace.
